Welcome to Restaurante El Asturiano, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Algodonales, Cádiz. This establishment champions the vibrant flavors of traditional Spanish cuisine, making it an essential stop for both locals and visitors alike.

As you step into El Asturiano, you're greeted with a bustling ambiance that hums with life, especially during the afternoons and evenings. If you're looking for a place that feels like home while enjoying a lovely meal, this is it. It serves as a popular meeting spot for paragliding enthusiasts and families alike, reflecting a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for all ages.

The menu is a tantalizing spread of classic Spanish dishes, crafted with care and served at remarkably reasonable prices. One standout feature is the restaurant's willingness to accommodate dietary preferences; impressive vegetarian versions of many dishes are available upon request, ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied. Guests rave about the artichokes—crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. Another highlight is the tapas-style offerings, allowing you to explore various flavors without overcommitting to a single dish. It's a wonderful way to experience the myriad tastes of Andalusian cuisine.

Real customers share their experiences, illustrating the essence of dining at El Asturiano. Theresa Lomar enthuses, "Best place ever! Wonderful with kids, good food, and such nice people!" This sentiment echoes through the walls, where laughter and chatter create a delightful backdrop for a memorable meal. Zdenka F praises the restaurant's extensive menu, filled with traditional offerings and great prices, though she notes that dining in groups might lead to an over-ordering dilemma. With that said, the takeaway option ensures that no sumptuous dish goes uneaten!

Don’t miss the bar's selection either—the 1906 beer on tap is highly recommended. Many visitors enjoy pairing their brews with a variety of dishes, embracing the full experience of local flavors. While the staff may hold a reputation for being a bit on the serious side, their dedication to serving quality food speaks volumes. Moreover, an English menu is readily available to ease any language barriers.

In summary, Restaurante El Asturiano is not just a restaurant but a crossroads of cultures, flavors, and heartwarming experiences. Whether you’re flying in from the nearby paragliding adventures or simply looking for a cozy meal with loved ones, this restaurant promises authenticity and satisfaction in every bite. Make it your next stop in Algodonales, and create memories worth returning for.

this bar is always busy with a great atmosphere. The 1906 beer on tap is a must and the food is really good here. The staff however don't speak English but there is a menu in English. The only down side to this place is the staff don't know how to smile! But that seems to be the Spanish way..

Typical Spanish restaurant/bar with traditional dishes. It offers quite an extensive selection of food, great for anyone wanting to try lots of dishes tapas style for a very good price. We found it a bit of a mixture some food was very tasty, some disappointing. Ordered too much food, so some (pork dishes) we ended up taking away with us. Out of tortitas de camarones, ensaladilla, queso frito con mermelada de higo, bacalao a la plancha, merluza, solomillo mozárabe y a la pimienta; merluza and solomillo were the nicest dishes, whereas queso frito was absolutely dripping in oil and not great.

Good selection of tapas and Plato's, best value is a couple of tapas as they are good sized portions of the main courses. Great staff and a popular diner with locals.
